After years of designing and planning we are excited to announce the opening of our new state of the art headquarters in Norfolk, NE. Located at 404 South 25th Street, this facility provides full-service banking, lending, wealth management, and insurance services. Additionally, 25th Street also houses the business banking specialists, back office, audit, finance, bookkeeping, IT, HR, and customer solutions center staff. Chief Executive Officer Aaron Otten explains how this project came to fruition:

As an institution we have experienced tremendous growth, more than doubling in size in the past 10 years. We simply outgrew our existing headquarters at 800 West Benjamin Avenue in Norfolk. About five years ago, we repurposed some storage rooms in a couple of our branches to get us by, but it was very evident that a larger location was needed. We first entertained the idea of putting an addition on our Benjamin Avenue location. As we were meeting with architects and looking at preliminary designs, we were approached by Menards who was interested in purchasing our Taylor Avenue branch located adjacent to their store. The timing couldn’t have been better. We liked the location of the Taylor Avenue branch and expressed to Menards that if we could find a suitable location in that general vicinity to build a new facility, we might entertain selling our building to them. About a year later, after evaluating nearby properties, going through sight design and negotiations, we agreed to sell the Taylor Avenue property to Menards. This transaction allowed us to move forward and build a facility that would not only accommodate our existing needs but provide us with the space to accommodate future growth for decades to come.

The new facility also features a convenient drive thru located just off 25th Street on the northeast corner of the property. The drive thru has three TODs (Teller on Demands) as well as a night depository. Otten continued:

We are excited to introduce this technology to the community, TODs allow customers the independence to conduct more self-service transactions, such as depositing a check, 24/7. They also offer an extended hour drive thru experience with live video tellers available 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and 8am-5pm on Saturdays. The Teller on Demand feature allows customers to complete nearly any transaction that they would through a traditional drive thru via a live video session with an Elkhorn Valley Bank teller.

Other features of the project include training rooms for employees and a state-of-the-art community room that will be available for customers of Elkhorn Valley Bank to utilize for business meetings, anniversary celebrations, graduations, and other events.

We have an outstanding team, who love providing their customers with an exceptional banking experience. This new facility is designed to provide the staff and the customers of Elkhorn Valley Bank a great environment to do business. We’ve been very blessed to be a part of such great communities, we thought it was important to include a space in the facility for the community that has done so much for us.
